The MAST Foundation is an international philanthropic and cultural institution dealing with art, technology and innovation. Studio Azzurro created four video installations in its exhibition path.

The first environment welcomes the visitors by presenting MAST core topics. A row of wide screens creates a wall of images and moving objects, inviting the audience to interact with the foundation’s project.

Projected on the walls of the elevator of the MAST building, the second installation is a collective tale, part of the interactive work series Story Bearers. Life-size ascending and descending figures are projected at the centre of the room. The visitor can stop them with a gesture of his/her hand and listen to their brief testimony – the direct experience of those who contributed to create practical knowledge or an enterprise. In the same room, the installation Strings divertimento is projected on the ceiling: violins dance in the space above the visitor, going from one frame to another on music by Mozart.

The last video installation is a wall of nine screens featuring testimonies about the activities of the MAST Academy.

26 screens
14 video projections
14 airing systems
