Two screens provide two simultaneous points of view, focusing on this episode taken from Homer’s epic. At times, the images work together in the same way that human eyes allow us to see, and at other times, they are different from each other and mix up, just like human thought. The screens, placed side by side, recreate scenes and landscapes, and the images of the actors move from place to another in a constant swapping of identities and roles.

The spectacle is heightened by the drawn-out narration and the slow-motion action. Memory of the battle seeps into the very substance of the landscape and finds its way into the dancers’ bodies, arriving at an ultimate synthesis which is devoid of all mythical allusion or epic reconstruction.
