From the Observations on nature, this installation was also approached as if it were a natural phenomenon without attempting to hide its artificiality. A large corner piece appears to have risen from underground and, like a wedge, it has split the line of monitors, breaking up their continuity. It is a composite mass that becomes disturbing and menacing when luminous matter begins to flow like lava on the screens. This artificial volcano has the inique capacity of attracting toward it and into the opening that has formed at the top everything that is on the outside: people, architecture, objects are all sucked in and propelled by the screens that fold into each other towards a hidden dimension to which these things belong. Natural and artificial merge in this staging of the devouring power of all that is “domestic”, which turns out to be just as destructive as things termed “wild”
