Four sensitive environments dedicated to the subject of Albert Einstein’s theory of relativity invite the visitor to enter immersive environments to discover and experience the dynamics of spacetime in the universe, the delay of solar light as it reaches the Earth, the deformation of spacetime when mass is involved, the expanse of the galaxies. People often talk about artists who try to relate to science and technology, but scientists have always equally tried to relate to art. There are several examples besides the extraordinary one mentioned here: Keplero imagined to study Earth from the moon, while Newton, Darwin, and Einstein too recurred to imagination as if it were the proper “territory” where the conditions for knowledge could be created, or as the site where sensations could be shaped. This is the impalpable terrain where artists and scientists draw their visions from. We thus try to venture into a conceptual universe crammed with complex scientific rules that cannot be either ignored or precisely shown; joining forces with precious scientists, we penetrate the circles of physics and chemistry and we share this little adventure with the audience, our ever favourite interlocutor.
