A violent contrast – a cobalt blue that stands out in the darkness of the room. In the video screens, filtered through an infrared device, we see the white silhouettes of various hands – that touch objects of different kinds. At first the objects do not show up, but the heat transferred through manipulation to the objects gradually makes them visible. Touching is seeing. The thermal camera is faced with the problem of making the shape shown persist, tearing it from its freeing vacuum: that dark space in which it seeks to return as soon as it is no longer touched, and grows cold. Time makes the object unstable, transforming it into a constant transfer of new intensities.
